Introduction to Acting Class
If you are seriously interested in learning more about the Ted Bardy Studio and the classes offered, we invite you to come down to observe and participate in one of our classes. The cost for this working audit class is only $20 and it is a great way to introduce yourself to the craft of acting.
Teens Program
Join us for a Meisner Scene Study Class and Showcase with Casey McClellan.
Meisner Scene Study – learning to listen and respond on a moment to moment basis working from your instincts and learning how to apply it to a scene.
Beginner Classes
Phase I starts off with the fundamental Meisner exercise called, “The Repetition Exercise.” The “Reality of Doing” is the foundation principle in the Meisner approach and this fundamental exercise trains actors in the habit of really listening, getting the attention off themselves, leaving themselves vulnerable, and really responding truthfully to their partners’ behavior.

Advanced Classes
Phase II continues to build upon the work from Phase I. It should be stressed that this work is designed in a very systematic, step-by-step fashion. We are trying to develop a habitual way of working. The instructor arranges semi-private meetings with students new to Phase II to discuss and explain the technique of “emotional preparation.”
Advanced Workshops
Phase III, also known as The Advanced Workshop, is the third and final phase of training for actors enrolled in the accelerated 3-phase Meisner program at The Ted Bardy Studio. Mr. Bardy evaluates all student work and determines when, and if, the student can consider his/her training in the Meisner Program at the Studio completed.
Summer Intensive – 6 Weeks that will change your life
The Summer Acting Intensive program at the Ted Bardy Studio is a rigorous yet affordable summer acting program available to motivated beginners, advanced actors, or graduates from other Meisner programs. We like to keep our classes to a manageable number of students for an intimate class setting, so there will be limited enrollment.
