This is a rigorous course of study designed for a select group of extremely motivated individuals who desire to work as professionals. (If you are unsure, please Click Here for information about our Afternoon Audit class -only available for afternoon classes. Does not apply to 6-Week Summer Intensive.)

— If you wish to apply immediately based upon our international reputation you may do so. —

Your First  Month

(Does not apply to 6-Week Summer Intensive.)

Students are considered for admission into the Studio program after a probationary period of one full calendar month. We have found that a one month period of classes is the best way for New Students, and the Studio, to decide if continued training at the Studio would be beneficial. We want what’s best for you; if you are invited back, you are NOT obligated to continue! There are many, many other great acting programs in New York City! Please remember that “talent” has nothing to do with whether or not a student is invited back. Excessive absenteeism, lateness, etc., are some of the reasons we don’t invite New Students back. (Over 75% of New Students are invited to continue, and the overwhelming majority take advantage of this wonderful opportunity!)

The day after the last class of your first month at the Studio (the audit/probationary period), students will be contacted only if they have been accepted into the program. If the New Student wishes to join us, payment in full will secure their spot in class. If not contacted, then the Studio has determined that participation in the Studio program will not be beneficial to the applicant at this time. If you are not invited back, please do not attempt to contact Mr. Bardy, or any faculty members at their personal contact numbers. You may, however, email tedbardy@tedbardy.com with “Invitation” in the subject line if you think there has been an error. You may also call the Studio at 212.725.2525 and leave a message, however, email is the preferred way of contacting the Studio. If an error has been made we will make more attempts to contact you via the contact information you have given us. Please remember there are no free ‘make up’ classes, no credits, and absolutely no refunds for any reason whatsoever—all payments received are non-refundable.

We are now located at: 939 8th Avenue, suite #506, NY, NY 10019 (8th Avenue @55th).

Thank you for your interest in The Ted Bardy Studio!
We look forward to assisting you on your Artistic journey!
